BLANCHE DES MOINES - 5.0 Alc. Vol.
This beer whose origins date back to the 17th century was one of the first beer brewed by Benedictines monks in their farms in the Brabant. Each spring, the monks took profit from the harvest of wheat and cereals to brew this light and thirst-quenching beer. This beer made the happiness of the monks during the whole summer.
Description:
Cloudy, smooth and mellow, the "Blanche des Moines" is a very high-quality wheatbeer. From the first sip, you will feel all its roundness and its delicacy that make it an outstanding wheatbeer.
Nose: Fine fruity with a scent of the spices used especially coriander and bitter orange.
Taste: Smooth beer, mild and thirst-quenching, slightly acidulous but not bitter, velvety with good consistency on the tongue.
Comment: Tasting between 2° and 4°C.
Conditioning: 33 cl, 75 cl, fût 30 L
Harmony with food: Fishes and white meats.
